What it's actually like
The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia holds one of the region's most respected collections of Islamic art and artefacts — architecture, textiles, ceramics, manuscripts, jewellery and scale models of famous mosques from across the Islamic world, spread across a dozen-plus galleries in a purpose-built, architecturally striking building. It's consistently rated as one of KL's best museums, and is comparatively uncrowded even by KL standards.
